About Jiwon

Jiwon Ha is a Korean-born choreographer and contemporary dance educator based in North Carolina. An Adjunct Professor of Dance at Elon University and former Artist in Residence with the North Carolina Dance Festival, she is known for blending traditional Korean folk dance with modern techniques to create performances that bridge cultures. Her work has carried her from South Korea to Canada and across the United States, inspiring audiences and students through innovative choreography and a passion for cross-cultural exchange.
