Pheriby Bryan is a senior at Elon University and a North Carolina native. She is
getting her BFA in Dance and Choreography with minors in Spanish and Business.
She grew up at Jami Masters School of Dance in Charlotte, NC, and has performed at
Elon University, The Alvin Ailey School, Ash and Elm Dance Company, Central Piedmont
Community College’s summer musicals, Florence Dance Center, and American Dance Festival’s
Footprints where she danced for Abdel R. Salaam. She has recently completed The Alvin
Ailey American Dance Theater Summer Intensive. This past school year, Pheriby presented her
directing and choreography debut entitled Semicolon thanks to the Rhodes Research Grant.
